Probability screening can use larger mesh sizes to obtain smaller grading particle sizes.
The reason is:
1. Due to the large inclination angle of the sieve surface, the effective sieve hole size is smaller than the actual sieve hole size.
2. The probability of collision between coarse particles and the sieve is higher than that of fine particles, so the probability of passing through the sieve hole is small. Only fine particles with a particle size much smaller than the actual sieve hole can be discharged through the sieve hole.
