1、 The stoppage of the conveyor screw shaft rotation is generally caused by three reasons:
1. The volume or weight of the conveyed material is too large, and the material cannot pass through the middle suspension bearing smoothly. The material resistance is too high at the middle bearing. Causing motor overload operation and shutdown. At this point, it is necessary to clean the materials in the conveyor.
2. The resistance at the middle bearing is too high, and the seal is damaged. The material entering the bearing causes the bearing to not rotate or the bearing to be damaged.
3. The bearing of the gearbox is burnt out.
2、 The temperature of the gearbox bearings rises too quickly after driving, causing abnormal noise and accompanied by vibration of the motor and gearbox. At this point, the machine should be stopped quickly and the cause should be investigated in the following aspects:
1. The bearing temperature at the output shaft of the reducer is normal, while the temperature at the input shaft is high. This is due to the loosening of the fixed components of the motor or the burning of the bearing at the output shaft of the reducer. It is necessary to loosen the coupling between the input shaft of the reducer and the motor and re calibrate and install it.
2. The bearing temperature at the output shaft of the reducer is high. The temperature at the input shaft is normal. This is because the center of the spiral shaft has shifted or the bearing at the output shaft of the reducer has burned out, causing the first and last bearing seats to loosen. Need to loosen the coupling between the output shaft of the reducer and the screw shaft, and re calibrate and install it.
3. The temperature at the output and input bearings of the gearbox is high. This is due to the loosening of the fixing bolts of the reducer or the burning of the bearings at both ends of the reducer. It is necessary to loosen the couplings at both ends of the reducer and re calibrate and install them.
